Serve! – www.servecanada.org - will receive 40% of the funds raised this year.

The philosophy behind Serve! is simple: put young people into meaningful leadership roles in their communities through volunteer service and you create an opportunity for young people to learn and grow. By placing young people in situations in which they are role models, Serve! helps youth to take ownership of their future and discover their self-worth as
they realize that others need and value them. In the Serve! programs youth take part in experiential learning activities that include team-building and adventure-based wilderness exercises, life and job skills workshops, and community-based initiatives. These activities build on the strengths of the youth enabling them to experience success, build confidence, and
understand that they are caring individuals who have a personal commitment to success.
